Glasgow has SO much to offer to both tourists and locals. The city is primarily split into two sections – the city centre and the west end – that involves most restaurants, tourist attractions, pubs and fun activities. I’ve condensed the list down to just 21 (I have 100 more that I will probably spread out into different posts!) so that you don’t get bored half way through reading. Be sure to let me know if you do any of these!
10 Things To Do in Budapest
One of the things I said to myself when I finished university and took on a full-time job was to continue travelling, especially into Europe as it would be easy access. However, after going to Budapest once, I really really want to go back for a second time.
Glen Etive: How to Find James Bond’s Famous Skyfall Location
Heading up to Glencoe, I couldn’t not visit Glen Etive and the famous James Bond location. I was given so many recommendation on what to do, what to see and where to visit; but with the constant torrential rain and low cloud, it was difficult to go very far without putting our lives in danger.
The Best Way to See Hyde Park
London is one of the places that I hold dearly to my heart, along with New York. I always say I’m a city gal, and whatever city I am in is my favourite – but truthfully I can’t actually choose! So one way a city can sway my opinion is not only an easy transport system (check) but also plenty of green space for walking and relaxing.
The People’s Palace & Winter Gardens, Glasgow
Another beautiful spring day meant I was dying to get out and about for a walk. We went out for a family lunch at Auld Raes in East Kilbride before taking a casual wander around the Winter Gardens in Glasgow Green. I had been in here before but only saw part of it as there was a wedding on and the middle section was closed off.
Top 5 Things To Do In Cartagena
With family living in Murcia, we couldn’t say no to a little bus trip down to Cartagena (not to be confused with Colombia’s Cartagena – we are still on mainland Spain!). Cartagena is a small town located within the region of Murcia, and it is home to one of the most important trade and defensive ports in modern history. So let’s take a walk through some it’s most fun and interesting sights. (But be sure to keep in mind of that siesta time, as some places close early!).
5 Things To Do In The Highlands In Winter
If you can brave the icy winds, relentless chills and 4pm darkness, then the Scottish highlands can be a beautiful wonderous land of fresh air, blogging inspiration and an endless amount of forest animals walking in your back garden
The Highlands offers plenty of culture and heritage during the summer months, but come the winter tourist hotspots close their gates and shops bring down the shutters just that bit earlier. So what is there to do then, I hear you ask.
