I wouldn’t class myself as a travel blogger. I sit at my dining room table and write about my holidays, experiences abroad and weekend getaways – not to mention a few Glasgow days out guides and restaurant reviews. It’s my life and unique to me. Not many people can say they have been abandoned in a Cambodian Crocodile Farm or stuck at the Malaysian Border but I have and that’s what makes me different from other bloggers out there.
I was hoping our road trip from Glasgow to Glencoe would be full of bright blue skies and rolling green hills. Unfortunately not, it was rainy rainy rainy…and the night forecasted for a visit from storm Katie. Being true scots, we dug out our North Face’s and wellies and set off with our google maps lady shouting at us. This was our holiday after all, and I was determined we were going to have a brilliant time.
Before heading across to Cambodia we had a whirlwind tour of the Phi Pi Islands just a short boat journey from Phuket. One of the most amazing things we did was go snorkeling in the crystal clear waters just off of the Island – breathtaking views and colourful fish swimming around you, what more could you want?!
I’ve filtered through the thousands of images I took while in Ibiza in September and gathered a few of the Old Town that were just so inspiring. The photo’s don’t do the atmosphere and vibe any justice, but hopefully these photos will give you a small glimpse into this gem of a place.
We spend our afternoon wandering around the narrow, winding cobbled streets – stopping at every little market stall. Afterwards we walked up to the Dalt Villa fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Hope you enjoy!
