Why You Should Put Bangkok Zoo on Your Itinerary: The Strange Things We Witnessed

I love Thailand, and once again it delivered! Visiting Bangkok Zoo wasn’t originally on our Thailand itinerary but we had a few hours to spare before catching a quick flight down to Phuket, so rather than sitting in the hotel relaxing on the rooftop pool we thought we would make the most of the day and head to the zoo!

I’m not a massive fan of zoos – I understand the long-term benefits for the animals but seeing some that are caged up and bored out their minds is just heartbreaking. Anyway, I thought going to the zoo would be interesting..and I was right. The only other zoos I’ve visited are Edinburgh and Chester and they were amazing, especially the penguin walk at Edinburgh and the Elephant enclosure at Chester.

So for this post I thought I would explain a few of the unusual things that we came across while at the zoo!
